System Responsible - Electrical Distribution System Installation
As System Responsible (SA), within the Electrical Distribution area, you will lead the strategy and concept work in cooperation with leaders from the Electrical & Electronics unit. During concept studies, you cooperate with Purchasing in selection of suppliers. You will, as well, participate in the requirements definition process, both in requirements balancing and development of new requirements. In this role you will also be responsible for the local work processes within the section. Doing this, you work together with process responsible from VCC's Research & Development division as well as with Volvo Cars IT and our development suppliers.
Section EDS Installation, is a part of the Electrical Distribution and Body Electronics department within Volvo Car Corporation. We are responsible for development of solutions for Electrical Distribution and wiring for all platforms in Volvo Cars product range.
The Electrical Distribution is affected by many different areas of our organization, leading to significant challenges in realizing solutions, but also in areas such as cost requirements, complexity and industrial structure.
Job profile:
• Lead, develop and report studies in concept phases
• Lead the sections strategic processes and develop "System Development Plans"
• Support Purchasing in the sourcing process
• Lead and develop the sections strategy regarding the local work processes
Your profile:
• University degree within electrical or mechanical area or long work experience in the area
• Minimum 7 years of work experience
• Interest in and experience from process development and IT processes
• Excellent communication skills
• Structured, thorough and well organized
• Solution oriented with an "wider picture" mindset
