The department Active Safety is responsible all the way from research and advanced engineering to implementation, verification and validation of current and future customer offers.
Our department Active Safety consist of over 300 ambitious and skilled engineers and is responsible for the development and verification of Active & Passive Safety, Autonomous Drive and Vehicle Dynamics systems and functions.
The 94402 Program management is responsible for leading the department projects encompassing the areas:
* Advanced Driver Assistance System
* Protective Safety
* Vehicle Motion & Stability
* Autonomous Drive Function, Software & Sensor Platform
We are now searching for a System Project Leader (SPL) that will join our team. As a SPL you will lead the 94400 technical deliveries towards vehicle or unit programs.
As our industry are under a transformation, so are we. We are on a road towards an agile way of working, and you as a project leader will be part of that. Do you want to be part of our agile organization in the future? Then it is, as you can understand - vital that you have knowledge, an interest and feel enthusiastic about this!
Who are you and what will you do?
Besides working in an exciting and cutting edge technical area, this is what you will do:
* Plan and follow up the project or program work within our department. You will deliver objectives and continuously hold a transparent status for the project/program. To be able to do so in a successful way - we believe that you have experience as project manager or team leader from before. You are structured and organized - how could you otherwise plan and follow up? (If you have a smart way of doing that - we want to know!) You are a good communicator and can enthuse people - even when times are though.
* You are our spokesperson, our representative, at different project fora's, so for us it is important that you are trustworthy, professional and self-driven with a positive attitude!
* In an agile way working with continuously improvement. Increasing development speed and flow and identifying and remove blockers. The same goes for technical issues. We like a hands-on approach to problems. Learn by doing, search for new and better ways and want to learn more!
Besides the things mention above we also believe that you have a technical education on a university level. You should have practical and theoretical knowledge from product development in electrical engineering or experience of analysis & verification preferably from the automotive industry. Also you should have a driving license (B), preferably you love cars as much as we do! (Otherwise you will start doing so if you join us)
We are a global company so a must for us is that you are fluent in English.
