As System Program Leader- Interior you will be a part of Interior commodity. Your task is to drive/support the chosen commodity area so it meets correct technical requirement, supplier capability, quality and material status following Supplier Engagement Process (SEP). You will be active and involved in development phases and secure that SQM voice of supplier technique, quality & timings are fulfilled, in specific commodity area. You will also support different program build events and launches in Volvo Cars Torslanda & Volvo Car Group factories. You are also responsible for managing and secure the sourcing, to capable suppliers from a quality and capacity perspective. The job is carried out in close cooperation with R&D, Program Management, ME and Plant management, Purchasing, Purchasing Program Management, Site-SQM organisation.
Main responsibilities
* Lead, drive, develop and support the Interior commodity by being spokesperson with knowledge in supplier quality & production techniques, project timings and commodity product knowledge
* Make sure that timings are kept according to milestone and gate ways, via Advanced Product Quality Planning, for own area of responsibility cross projects
* Secure the lessons learn are used from project to project on its commodity
* Lead priority supplier selection for its commodity
* Drive and support flawless launches
* Assure sourcing for quality in early phases for its commodity
* Work closely with R&D and Purchase to escalate in due time supplier related quality issues
Required qualifications
* Education on university level or equivalent experience
* Good knowledge in products / Interior
* Good knowledge of R&D/Plant/Purchasing organisation and working procedures
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Good skills in Microsoft office
* Manufacturing and Launch skills is an advantage
* Project Management skills, milestone & gateways is advantage
