Who are we?
Interior trim is a section that belongs to Interior Engineering, consisting of six groups, working with a wide range of technologies and materials, e.g. door trim, concealing panels, pillar trim, sill mouldings, rear door trim, headlining systems, carpets, NVH insulations & absorbents, interior light, functional parts, luggage covers and trunk trim. A majority of all parts are developed in-house on built to print basis, by groups focused on delivering world class interiors for our future cars. We are responsible for all product documents defining the interior trim of the car.
Interior trim, is looking for a System Program Leader. The SPL will belong to our Program execution group that lead the section deliveries in: Advanced Engineering, Concept, Industrialisation, Launch, Cost reduction, Quality, and Running changes. We are about 12 colleagues in our group and placed in Torslanda.
As an SPL your focus is on a flawless launch of the program from PC (Program Confirmation) to FSR (Final Status Report). You are responsible for the Interior trim deliverables when it comes to Technology, Time and Cost, and will report to the Unit Program Leader as well as to the Interior trim management team. Your team will consist of GDL 's (Group Design Leaders) and a Launch leader from Interior trims different sub-system areas.
Main tasks
* Lead Interior trim deliveries according to Technology, Time and Cost
* Proactively deliver according to milestones
* Cross-functional management and profit responsibility for the assignment on mandate of the Section manager
* Reports the status of the assignment on PCM-S (Program Control Meeting Section) management via PSR (Program Status Report)
* Prepares decision points for DRM-S (Design Review Meeting Section) for decision.
* Be the Interior trim representative at project fora such as TPM-U and DRM-P
* Operates and manages the Technical Program Meeting Section (TPM-S) with engineers
* Create and coach a strong team of GDLs, Design Lead Engineers, Design Engineers and Technical Coordinators for Analysis and Verification, where the members can perform at their very best
* Establish the technical-logical plan for Interior trim deliverables
* Being proactive and a part of the solution in technical matters
Required qualifications
* B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. M.Sc. is meritorious
* Excellent knowledge in our product development process (VPDS), systems and tools
* Experience of Product development preferably in a project management position
* Knowledge of the Interior systems and complete vehicle
* Good knowledge of working methods and systems; release of design technical documents, task and deviation management, planning, project monitoring, financial control
* Supplier base knowledge is meritorious
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Swedish and English)
