hela Sverige Powertrain Control Strategy is now looking for a system owner for our powertrain control systems for electric vehicles.
Powertrain Control Strategy is responsible for adapting the powertrain for the lowest possible energy consumption and optimal driveability and performance. This also involves responsibility for the powertrain control systems and requirements with regard to the rest of the organisation and suppliers in order to create the right opportunities.
You will be joining the Transmission System SW group, which among other things works on system architecture, interfaces and signal processing, and has overall responsibility for development processes, system security and deliveries.
Your duties
The system owner role is a broad technical role in which you will work closely with project managers, function owners and developers, and will be responsible for running and coordinating development and testing of the powertrain control system.
Your duties will include communication and coordination with colleagues within R&D, production and aftermarket. You will participate in cross-functional meetings and collaboration, and will be the powertrain control system's representative in work involving the other control systems. You will be involved from the start of development of new functions and will deliver these for testing and production, but you will also help to solve any problems that may arise around the system after production launch.
You will gain a broad network of contacts and will quickly get to know Scania's electrical systems, our development processes and how customers use our products. This is a very varied and stimulating job, providing plenty of opportunities for future career options throughout Scania and particularly within R&D.
At work, you will be part of a group that is characterised by distinct ambition with huge drive to develop both professionally and on a personal level.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with an MSc in Engineering or equivalent with a few years' experience of control systems and software development for embedded systems.
You will be committed, curious and have the ability and desire to come up with new ideas and deliver results. You will enjoy working with other people and will be driven by an inspiring atmosphere, surrounded by lots of talented colleagues.
You will be good at leading and driving technological changes and will be organised with an educational approach. You will like solving problems. Communication skills, both verbal and written, are one of your strengths.
You will need a driving licence for cars and must be proficient in both written and spoken Swedish and English. A driving licence for trucks/buses is a plus, as is any other experience relating to vehicles.
We offer
In addition to career and development opportunities, we can also offer Scania employees other benefits, such as a company car, performance bonuses, a pension, flexible working hours, lunch at reduced prices and much more. If you live in Stockholm, we offer a direct bus service between Stockholm and Södertälje, the Scania Job Express.
