We need to strengthen our team of system and functional development for electrified vehicles with a system owner for Battery Management System that can manage current and future systems.

The role
System owner role is a broad technical role in which you will be responsible for driving and coordinating the requirements and development of the BMS functionality. Your tasks include communication and coordination with colleagues within R&D, production, aftermarket and our external partners and suppliers. You will be included in the requirements for new systems, deliver these to test and production, but also help solve any problems that may arise around the system after production. You will have a wide network of contacts and will quickly learn about Scania's products, our development processes and customer needs. It is a very varied and stimulating job that offers great opportunities for future career opportunities throughout the group. As a system owner you ensure that development of the system has been carried out correctly. You ensure that the system can be described in a comprehensive manner for various stakeholders.
Profile
We are looking for you with a few years of experience in controls system and software development for embedded systems. You are a engineer with masters degree or equivalent. You are engaged, curious and have the ability and will to both bring new ideas and achieve results. You like working with others and driven by an inspiring climate with many talented colleagues around you. You are good at leading and driving technical changes and you are educational and structured. You like problem solving. Communication is one of your great strengths, both verbally and in writing.

Driving licenses for trucks or buses are meritorious just like other vehicle-related experiences. Good knowledge of English (spoken and written) is a requirement, skills in German is a plus.
