Are you motivated by having responsibility for complex and business critical systems? Then the position as system owner for SMSC at Tre is the job for you!

As system owner at Tre you will be responsible for O&M and long-term development of our SMSC platform. Daily work will include handling requirement from the organization, configuration, upgrades, system stability and customer complaints. We are right now in an exciting phase for our messaging platform where you will participate in shaping the future of the solution. You will join a team of 8 persons responsible for O&M and development (Dev Ops) of our messaging platforms and our mobile business exchange. The position will include night job and possibly on-call.

We expect you to have technical knowledge of SMS traffic in telecom networks and that you have been a system owner and responsible of critical business Systems. We also see that you have a degree in engineering or equivalent. Experience with other messaging systems (voicemail/MMSC) is an advantage.

To be successful with us and in this role, you must be analytical and be able to quickly identify the cause of a problem and act on it. You like to challenge old ways of working. We prefer unorthodox and cost-effective solutions over complicated and bureaucratic. We are a tight organization, which means that we must work together to succeed in our mission. You should therefore be good at communication and collaboration within the company. You should think it is fun to help where it is needed
