IT-operations today consist of four groups of which Live Operations is one of them. Live Operations is growing as we take in more systems into the company and broaden our product portfolio. We therefore need more engineers to take on the the different tasks involved in running a system.

Live Operations is working as system operators for the most business critical and externally facing systems. We make sure the systems we have responsibility for runs smoothly and we handle incidents that might occur. We also plan for the growth and future of the system and partake in planning for new systems and functions.

As a System Operator you are involved in incident management and you are the first point of contact at Engineering. Your responsibilities include monitoring and forecasting, maintenance planning, and backup and recovery management. You work together with developers and engineers to make sure that the future products/systems covers the high demands in operability. You will support the QA organisation and work with a wide range of projects. This is a position were you have on call duty.

Your main goal is to get a good understanding of the systems we manage and making sure the systems are monitored and that we act proactively by having a broad technical knowledge and working independently. This is a place were you learn a broad set of skills from great engineering colleagues.

Required Qualifications

• Higher education within IT, preferrably BSc or MSc in engineering.
• Experience of working with IT-operations within a company in a high-transaction segment such as banking, online gaming or similar.
• Experience within monitoring, incident-management and documentation.
• Broad skills in Linux and open source tools.

Preferred Skills

• SQL and database-theory
• Agile ways of working (kanban)
• Release management
• Fluent in English and preferrably Swedish as well
• Great communication skills, verbal as well as in writing
