For our electrified vehicles, the perceived quality and usability of our charging systems and functions are crucial to create trust in a technology that is new to our customers. Building this trust will be important to support our customers on their journey to sustainability. Furthermore, having charging systems and functions that are both safe, efficient and seamless will be an important differentiator towards our competitors, and that will create premium value towards our customers.
To accomplish that we need the right test capabilities and competence and therefor are we looking for an ambitious and driven Test Engineer that will help us to define and build our future test capabilities for Charging Systems and Functions.
Who we are
UECA - Charging Systems and Functions is a group responsible for systems that handle the communication between vehicle and charger. We also own and develop charging user functions with the goal of having industry leading interaction between our users and the vehicle.
The group consist of system and function owners. Our collaborations span over several business areas within Scania and other brands within TRATON.
About the role
As an Test Engineer you will work closely together with system and function owners to identify test needs to verify and validate our charging systems and functions.
You will in your role:
• Develop test cases
• Set test plans
• Plan testing through preparation activities
• Conduct testing
• Summarize and analyse the results
• Propose improvements based on test results towards system and function owners
Who you are
You are a dedicated team-player who thrive in a dynamic, fast paced work environment. You easily take initiatives even if little to none intructions are given, and find motivation in developing the best way forward in cooperation with others. You are communicative and good at navigating between theory and practice.
You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree and previous experience within system/software development or testing
You are fluent in English, speaking and written.
