We currently have the following job opening;
System Manager Engine Aftertreatment Systems
We are looking for a dedicated System Manager to a new area that we are establishing - Engine Aftertreatment System - EATS. This team will have responsibility for the hardware development/integration of the hot-end; catalysts, particle filters and the supporting installation parts. You will have the technical lead of a team of System- and Design Engineers located here in Sweden. You will need to build and maintain a network with expertise across the corporate Geely group in the technical area of EATS. The System Manager role at CEVT is a role which has technical responsibility of a system area over time. Your everyday tasks will as a minimum consist of:
Responsibilities and tasks
- Develop system technology strategies and commonalities
- Act as Concept leader until the gateway Program Confirmation and Project leader in the Industrialization phase for EATS
- Drive and establish system requirements together with our development partners
- Lead the work to establish the R&D related documents for sourcing and support the sourcing process
- Together with our partners and suppliers, develop system design solutions based on best practice to meet the requirements
- Ensure establishment of a plan for component and system simulation, testing and validation together with our CAE team, the System Verification Leader and our partners
- Lead and coordinate cross functional team (System/design engineers, Purchasing, Supplier Quality Management engineers, Manufacturing Engineering, CAE etc.)
- Project report to UPL - Unit Project Leader
- Line reporting to Module Team Director Engine and Transmission Integration
Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. Eng
- Relevant experience in development of components/systems within the Engine development area.
- Driven, independent problem solver who takes initiatives and can lead work in cross functional teams
- Proven knowledge of project management according to common car industry development systems.
- Persistency to pursue targets, take decisions and able to respond to changing priorities
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
