As a System Manager you are responsible for the development of new systems within the body upper or body lower module teams. You will also have the responsibility to manage the resources and the deliveries from the project team both in Sweden and China.
You will lead one of the following systems or areas:
• Rear floor
• Upper structure
• Body structure requirements
Responsibilities and tasks
• Drive and develop system requirement alignment across Geely Auto and Volvo Cars, into one common set of requirements
• Develop system design solutions together with our partners and suppliers, based on best practice to meet new requirements
• Define, plan and monitor system testing and validation together with the validation manager.
• Lead & coordinate the cross functional team and overall work tasks
Requirements
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. engineering.
• 15 years's experience of automotive development with focus on Body in leading positions.
• Relevant experience of the specific system area
• Knowledge about trends and applicability of new technologies
• Experience of project management
• Experience of supplier management
• Ability to drive, motivate and convince
• Persistency to pursue targets and take decisions
• Cultural awareness, especially Asian ? European culture
