System Manager Air Conditioning
CEVT is looking for a System Manager who want to develop in a challenging role. CEVT can offer you a young organization where your ideas can grow. As a System Manager for air conditioning you are responsible for the development of complete air-conditioning system, including AC compressor and AC lines, within one of CEVT's module teams at Powertrain Integration. Our Module Team (Thermal Energy Management) is responsible for developing complete systems for cooling and climate and engine air intake systems.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Develop solutions for air conditioning system in together with our partners and suppliers, based on best practice to meet new requirements.
- Drive, develop and align air conditioning specific components (e.g. AC compressor and AC lines) across our platforms.
- Ensure functionality for the complete AC loop (compressor, evaporators, condenser, valves, lines etc)
- Define, plan and monitor system and component testing/ validation.
- Lead and coordinate the cross functional team and overall work tasks for initial project phases
- Lead AC strategy development
Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. engineering
- 5 to 10 years' experience of automotive development, preferably in different parts of product development cycles and/or from different disciplines
- 3 to 5 years' experience AC system development
- Minimum 1-year experience in management position
- Knowledge about trends and applicability of new technologies within automotive climate system
- Experience of project and supplier management
- Asian and European cultural awareness
- Persistency to pursue targets and take decisions
- Fluent in English
