System Manager - Powertrain Engineering, Controls System & Concept
The powertrain controls and calibration department deliver complete control system solutions for new upcoming vehicles, including electrified variants. This is an exciting mission where you will play an important role in building up the operations. Your responsibility will be to lead system and concept work within the controls area.
The Controls department consists of six different teams; project, electronic hardware, software, system & concept, verification and calibration for the complete powertrain. You will be placed in the System & Concept team, and work in a cross-functional set-up with colleagues in Sweden and China.
In this role you will develop and maintain the powertrain domain in our future electrical architecture. You will prepare the architecture for upcoming new development and be technical lead for a group of System Engineers.
Responsibilities and tasks
* Lead system and electrical architecture work in the powertrain area
* Plan and drive the work for your team of system engineers
* Work closely together with project leaders to secure the technical content in the deliveries
* Communicate status towards stakeholders in Sweden and China
Requirements
* Engineering degree at M.Sc. level or similar
* Minimum 5 years of experience from Automotive R&D
* Experience working as a system engineer responsible for function development or distributed SW functionality
* Experience working in PLM systems such as system weaver, Doors, Serena or similar
* Car driving license
* Ability to travel 3-4 time a year
