As System Manager for Brake System Modulation and Brake by Wire, you will be responsible of and lead architecture technical development, planning and execution in cross platform development.
You will be a part of the System Manager team responsible of the full Brake System development, from Brake Pads & Discs to functions, SW and System Safety.
The development is high end technology with focus on the newly launched CMA platform (XC40, Lync&Co 01 and several other top hats) as well as future technology for next generation of architecture and platforms to meet Autonomous Drive, AI implementation and Brake by Wire applications.
The system responsibilities:
- VDDM Brake Control Module
- BBM Electrical Booster
- RBU Redundant Brake Module
- Brake by Wire
- WSS Wheels Speed Sensors
You will be located at Lindholmen, Gothenburg, in a multi-cultural team and will work close together with System Managers of Functions & System Safety, Vehicle Dynamics & Brake SW, Brake Foundation, Vehicle Architecture and OEM Suppliers of Brake Systems.
Requirements
- Sc. in Mechatronics and/or Electrical Engineering
- Documented experience from working with System Safety for minimum 3 years
- Good knowledge of the ISO26262 automotive standard
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience of Brake System Development
- Documented experience of working in a global environment.
- Positive attitude and interested in finding the way to solutions with other people/teams.
- Well-structured personality.
- Willing to help others and to ask for help when needed.
- Have an openness and awareness of multi-cultural environment.
