Connectivity is a key enabler for Fleet Management, Uptime Services and advanced vehicle services like driver assistance and fuel reduction, targeting reduced costs as well as increased revenues. The development in the area of connectivity is fast, furious and fun! This is usSystem & Function is a team of 20+ inspired engineers with a mission to develop and maintain system solutions and functions within the domain of Vehicle Connectivity. We drive the systems engineering work along with pre-studies and early investigations in the area as well as define system-level strategies and framework. We can offer you an exciting and global working environment and a broad variety of tasks in a dynamic department with many strategic projects.This is what you will doAs our System Leader, you will be a technical leader for pre-studies, which targets having well analyzed solutions that define how the project can implement the product change. For smaller pre-studies you will do the analysis yourself, and for large pre-studies you will lead a team that together performs the necessary investigations.You will be responsible for reviewing input requirements and identifying possible solutions, analyze and anchor them until a recommendation can be made taking project scope, current platform and technical limitations into consideration. You will also work close to agile software development teams to support implementation of proposed solutions. This is youIn this role, you will be both a leader and a pedagogue. It is important that you are self-motivated and good at prioritizing and planning your own, and when needed, your team's work. You need to be able to analyze and solve complex problems, creating pedagogical overviews, highlighting important details and have the ability to anchor them with different stakeholders. To do this successfully, you need to have technical know-how combined with good networking- and communication skills.It is meriting if you have experience from vehicle product development as well as Telematics and Connected Vehicles.QualificationsB.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in electronics/computer engineering or equivalent educationMinimum five years of work experience within product development and systems engineeringGood understanding of embedded software and hardware developmentGood understanding of system development of embedded real-time systemsKnowledge about Requirement Verification and Validation methodsKnowledge of agile software developmentLeadership skills proven in useFluent communication in EnglishDoesn't this sound like just the right opportunity for you?
