hela Sverige The department, Systems Engineering, is responsible for the development of the next generation electrical and electronics architecture as well as maintaining and supporting the current architecture within Volvo GTT. We are a team of employees and consultants located in Gothenburg. The development work is done in an international environment together with colleagues from around the world.
As a system leader you will have a key role during pre-study and concept development of new features and architectural changes to the electrical system. You will have technical responsibility for the proposed solutions and to get these approved and communicated both internally and externally to the global electrical and electronics department. You will be responsible for analysis, specification and managing system requirements as well as proposing allocation of new functionality and supporting trouble shooting if needed. You will also work with ensuring that EE system strategies are followed and specified in the development of future system solutions. You will be required to understand how the EE system is used in our products and how it enables the functionality of the vehicles. You will take part in further development of processes and methods within the system development area as well as quality assurance on EE system level.
Depending on personal skills, experience and interest there are also possibilities to participate in advanced engineering projects.
We are looking for an experienced system engineer who is structured, thorough and with an open minded and positive attitude. You need to be good at cooperating with others and to have a good sense of responsibility and to be able to drive and resolve technical issues. You should be able to create the overview of the system and highlight the important details in recommended solutions.

Qualifications
• MSc electrical engineering, computer science or similar
• Very good understanding of system development of embedded real-time systems
• Good understanding of embedded software and HW development
• Good understanding of model based development
• Analytical, communicative and flexible
• Business and customer oriented
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Experience from the automotive industry is meriting
