What you'll do?As System Lead your main task will be to plan, coordinate and monitor the System Engineering activities in one of our application projects. The journey starts from a defined ADAS or AD functionality. Your mission will be to drive definition of the following System Requirements and System Architecture together with our engineering groups. Along the way you will review the progress in internal and customer reviews according to agile principles.
As constraints are being identified by System Integration and Test you will ensure these are handled and incorporated in the System Architecture and Requirements. You will also monitor that Safety Requirements are handled for System Design in close cooperation with our Functional Safety Manager. To secure the System deliveries through the complete development cycle, you will also have a natural interaction with our Product Experts, Software Engineers, Test- and Verification Engineers.
The System plan will be continuously coordinated between you, the Design Lead (Technical Team Lead) and the Project Manager to ensure the overall deliverables. You will also support these functions in System related customer meetings.
As part of the Veoneer System Engineering community you will have the opportunity to contribute to our internal Continuous Improvement work
What you'll bring:We believe that you already have a background in embedded systems development and a good understanding of system architecture. Preferably, you even have experience from Automotive and worked with Safety critical systems. Additionally, you have an ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories and concepts in development of vehicle safety systems which has been a key to your success. If you have experience of Automotive SPICE, AUTOSAR and ISO26262 we see that as an extra bonus that is highly credible.
As a person we presume that you thrive in environments of constant learning and developing, where you can put your problem-solving skills to good use. You are used to and enjoy working both independently and in teams, help driving the projects forward. You are convincing and result oriented and have the ability to build good and constructive relations within the team and with the customers. Since you are used to working in international environments you are also no stranger to the English language or communicating to people from different parts of the world. Although, being able to communicate in Swedish is highly merited.
Level (diploma) required:
• Post-secondary or Master education in Electrical Engineering, System Engineering or Software Engineering
Other required skills:
• 3 or more years' experience within relevant area
