We are looking fro 10 System Functional Engineer for a large telecom project. In this assignment you will be able to work with the latest technologies, solutions and applications within telecom.
Starting dates are August and September.
Job description
• This assignment entails working as a System Functional Engineer.
• Primary work for a System Functional Engineer is to maintain and develop our FS's (functional specification) and DS's (design specification).
• The FS describe the behaviour requirements (use case) for the products.
• The DS is divided into the Functional DS describe how the system work including how HW and SW interact and the Performance DS which is strictly for HW design.
• The specifications need to be updated/reviewed for every release, standards and HW that the functionality (SW) will support. The work is done according to the principle of one track SW.
Competence in following areas would be preferable
• Data communication, radio architecture, external IWD (interwork description) and O&M.
• Systems engineering in general and functional specification (FS/DS) in particular.
• SW-design (C/C++), data base, ASIC, FPGA, Clearcase and/or UML.
• Radio HW design, RF, signal processing.
• HW/SW connection.
• Requirements-management tool like ReqPro.
• Technical studies, investigations, change requests (CR) and trouble reports (TR).
• Product structure and configuration management.
• Team leader experience and project planning.
• Candidates must be good team players with attention to detail, self-disciplined, able to manage their own time and workload, proactive and motivated.
• Candidates shall also have good written and verbal communication skills in Swedish (preferably, not an absolute requirement) and English.
• M.Sc. degree or similar.
