TheEye Tracking Systems department is responsible for developing and maintaining our cutting-edge analysis eye trackers. In addition to hardware, we also develop embedded firmware, algorithms and SDKs in the team. We work very closely with other RnD departments and product management in Tobii Pro, as well as other parts of the Tobii organization to ensure that we bring the world's best eye tracking solutions to our academic and commercial research customers.
The role and responsibilities
We are looking for a passionate hardware system design engineer and product owner. You willplay a central role in the Eye Tracking Systems department where we develop Tobii Pro's wearable and screen based eye trackers. Our products combine state-of-the-art electronics, optics and mechanics and this position gives you a unique opportunity to work cross disciplinary with hardware development!
In this role, you will
Develop new products and maintain our current products to the absolute highest standard
Work with hardware system design
Scout the market to keep up with the latest technology advancements
Cooperate with product management, sales, and customers to understand product requirements
Have a lot of fun working with your brilliant colleagues

We are looking for someone who
Is passionate about multi-disciplinary embedded systems development
Is equally happy to go to the lab to solder, pull out an oscilloscope, or set up an optical test bench, as spending time in the office
Loves making electronics, optics and mechanics work together in harmony
Has more than 5 years of work-life experience in a similar role
We find it to be a strong merit if you have experience in low cost and low power system design, and familiarity with regulatory requirements for safety and EMC.
