Over the years we have been growing and today we are working within the areas Automotive, Control Systems, Industry, Purchasing and Recruitment. This vacancy is positioned within the Automotive area, which means you will be a part of our consultancy section.
We are looking for System Engineers - Infotainment & Connectivity to the Automotive Industry!
We are in need of system engineers within many subsystem areas. You will be Subsystem Responsible, also for some areas you act as End-To-End Function Owner. In this role you are working with system development within our customer's Infotainment & Connectivity module team. You will develop requirements, concepts and system solutions and you will drive the work towards suppliers according to requirements.
The Module team consists of the following Subsystem areas: Radio & Media, HMI Management & Displays, Speech Recognition & Language, Driver Information, Connectivity, Connected Services, Telematics Services, Audio, Navigation, Phone, Infotainment Platform.
Your background and interest will play a role in which area you are most suitable. Please mention in your application which area you are applying for.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Develop and design systems that meet high level requirements (specify requirements, signals, logical functionality etc.)
- For the areas where you also will act as Function Owner you will be specifying functionality on use case level and on "block diagram level"
- Support the defined release routines (Elektra requirement management tool)
- Actively work with suppliers to achieve world class functionality with competitive cost and timing
- Setup and follow function/system implementation plans.
- Take an active role in system testing activities and work closely to the system test team.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical or Computer engineering, or equivalent.
- Relevant experience from EE embedded system development within the automotive area
- Experience of project leading & of the infotainment area is an advantage
- For Connectivity areas a background from telecom could be of use
- Ability to work independently & in cross functional teams
- Ability to drive, motivate and convince and drive work towards suppliers
- Cultural awareness, especially Asian.
Additional Information
- Travels to Asia will be requested.
- Each individual in our team has a high level of responsibility and mandate, and is expected to be able to work autonomously.
