As a System Engineer you will be in contact with suppliers within software development and ensure that system deliveries are of high quality and within the right time limit. You will also handle requirement and quality assurance and make sure that functions and systems are properly validated. Other tasks will include downloading the software and troubleshooting in lab, rig and vehicle environments and in some cases you will be responsible for unit testing before delivery for testing and verification.

We are looking for a System Engineer with a Master's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, technical physics or similar, and relevant experience from the automotive industry or other similar technology areas.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience from embedded systems
• Knowledge of system model development in Matlab/Simulink.
• Experience from validation of simulation models
• Knowledge in AUTOSAR and ISO26262 is meritorious
• Experience from Volvo Cars, Volvo AB or CEVT is meritorious
• Understanding of electric vehicle systems: batteries, power electronics and digital control systems.
