Job description
As a system engineer you will be working with electrical systems, vehicle integration and wiring harness for one of our customers within the automotive sector. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating activities related to electrical switches, cluster, harness, horns, modules and other electrical devices in current and upcoming vehicle models. You will be responsible for design releases, packaging of wiring harness and handling contact with suppliers and customers. You have an active role in the design & development process, including tech reviews, validation plan and wiring harness assessment. The assignment may include responsibilities related to budget, resource estimation & planning.
Your profile
We think that you are a collaboration oriented and responsive person with a high level of service and a passionate interest in technology. You have a minimum of seven years? experience from electrical R&D with proficient skills in wiring harness and experience in the SABER software tool. Our customers and commitments put strong demands on your technical skills as well as your interpersonal skills. You are able act independently and take initiatives and have an excellent English language level, verbally and in writing. You should also be a good listener and have strong communication skills. You have an ease of understanding new data, you are used to seek information and are not afraid to handle contacts with customers and their suppliers.
Qualifications
• B.Sc. Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 1 years? experience of electrical R&D
• Proficient experience in wiring harness
• Good knowledge in the SABER software tool
• Good knowledge in Lean & Excel
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
