You will
As a System Engineer, you will be part of a technically driven team with a strong drive to establish laser-based measurement technology for gas analysis in the food, pharmaceutical and beverage industry. You will have a central function and make sure that various customer needs are met in the best possible way. That means your responsibilities will be to define how to convert the customer needs to requirements and solutions.
Your time will be spent on conceptual work and designing our product/system, working close to our customers which can be both installations, new concepts, support or specific development. Some key responsibilities:
• Take techlead of a part of our product portfolio and do the conceptual design on new products. Tech lead means the understanding of the product all the way from customer needs/requirement to the final product.
• Co-work and collaborate with other disciplines in the projects
• Travel to customers for on-site integration projects and customizations, primarily in Europe
• Troubleshooting electronics, testing and verification
• Establish specifications, design descriptions, and report
You are
We are looking for someone who 's passionate about technology and want to be part of a culture with a strong collaborative spirit where everyone can make a difference. To succeed in this role, you need to be a self-motivator and driver with a getting it done mentality. Furthermore, you understand the importance of keeping deadlines and delivering on time with quality. At a small company you will work broad and support the team members in the Development and Innovation group.
We expect you to have an academic degree and solid technical competence in systems engineering, computer science, technical physics, electronics or similar. You have several years of experience in automation, electronics, product development, software, system design and find it easy to familiarize yourself with and understand new technology. Working practically with components and hardware is something you enjoy as much as you like working in software systems with integrations at customers.
In addition to the technical knowledge and work experience, we are looking for a person who wants to become part of the Gasporox team and work towards our common goals. You are inventive, good communicator and good at interacting with colleagues within the company as well as with our customers. You are also fluent in English, written and spoken.
