We currently have the following job opening;
System Engineer, Tailgate
We are now looking for a System Engineer Tailgate within Body & Exterior - Closures.
As System Engineer you will be responsible for all deliveries for the complete tailgate for projects on our future vehicle program for the new car brand Lynk & Co.
The work principle within the Closure team is flexibility and the possibility to use what you excel at together with a strong sense of co-operation; this meaning that you as part of a larger team will also support activities in other areas as well as you will get support on your area.
Responsibilities and tasks
- By using Catia, design and develop proposals for tailgate to support the project and the team
- Develop system design solutions to meet project requirements
- Closures tailgate system technical fulfillment, timing and cost
- Lead and manage design team
- Secure project tailgate deliveries from development to launch phase
- Cooperation with Lync & Co Research Institute engineers in China
Requirements
- Experience of tailgate system design and manufacturing process
- Beneficial with experience from involvement in an automotive launch phase
- Experience in Catia V5 and TeamCenter
- Fluent in English, both oral and written
- Master of Science in Engineering, or the equivalent experience
Personal Attributes
The ideal candidate is an individual with a strong passion for design development in automotive. Ability to flexibly work in vague and constantly changing design direction and conditions.
Enjoys being a team player and can work closely with project and system managers as well as with suppliers.
