We currently have the following job opening;
System Engineer, Sealing
We are now looking for a System Engineer within Body & Exterior - Closures.
As System Engineer (SE) you will be responsible for all deliveries for all closure sealings for a specific project. Depending on your background and ambitions you might either design the parts yourself and/or lead other design engineers.
The work principle within the Closure team is flexibility and the possibility to use what you excel at together with a strong sense of co-operation; this meaning that you as part of a larger team will also support activities in other areas as well as you will get support on your area.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Closures sealing system technical fulfillment, timing and cost
- Develop system design solutions to meet project requirements
- Lead and manage sealing system supplier communication
- Handle transfer from development phase to launch team for your parts
- Cooperation with Lync & Co Research Institute door & sealing System Engineer counterparts
Requirements
- Experience of sealing system design and manufacturing process
- Experience from involvement in an automotive launch phase with regard to sealings
- Experience in Catia V5 and TeamCenter
- Fluent in English, both oral and written
- Driven problem solver who takes initiatives and responds to changing priorities
