One of our customers within the Automotive industry is now looking for a System Engineer within New development.
Background:
Model based system development has been introduced into our customer for certain areas and how well it is utilized varies. We see a major potential in utilizing model based method and tools throughout whole organization and the full development process. Currently they are running an operational development project to develop a common MBSE strategy and define harmonized process, methodology and an optimized tool chain. The project is performed within EESE/Chassis/PT units and led by department Operational Development.
Main deliveries and responsibilities:
The person we are looking for will work in one defined pilot project to implement and refine the existing process, method, and tool chain for model based systems design. The project will work with selected systems for next generation of vehicles, with close cooperation with their representatives. The first pilot area will model the existing customer function "start of engine". This function involves many other functions, subsystems and components, i.e., development responsibility is spread throughout the organizations. The goal with the pilot is to understand whether a UML notation would fulfill a number of criterias such as understanding the system and clear function distribution between subsystems.
Krav & Kvalifikationer:
Education Required:
University degree or equal competence level achieved by long term experience.
Skills Required:
• Teamwork oriented - Good skill in speaking and writing in English
Experience Required:
• Good knowledge and experience in model based systems development for software intensive systems; experience in embedded system is preferred.
• Three years experience of using UML tools such as EA, Rhapsody, RSA, MagicDraw and/or similar for system design and development.
• Knowledge of electronics and/or controls development. Experience from automotive industry will be seen as a merit.
