We currently have the following job opening;
System Engineer Interior Trim Lower Rear
As a System Engineer Interior Trim Lower Rear you will act within the Interior Trim Module team. The Interior Trim Lower Rear area consists of the following groups: Luggage/ Carpets and NVH/ Interior Lighting.
As System Engineer (SE) you will be responsible for Interior Trim components in a specific project(s). You will work closely with Product Design and Packaging Department to develop future Trim Systems where CEVT puts high requirements on execution. In early phases you will work together with a concept design engineer to verify possible concepts, while in the industrial phase you will have complete systems developed by a full service suppliers or more commonly in our area Build to print parts that we develop in our teams.
The work principles within the Interior Trim Lower Rear Module team are flexibility and a strong sense of co-operation. This means that you as part of a larger team will also support activities in other areas as well as you will get support in yours.
Responsibilities and tasks
- You will be responsible for parts within Interior Trim when it comes to technical fulfillment, timing and cost.
- Manage full service suppliers and/or Build to print and lead of design engineer(s)
- Secure timely deliveries with the right quality
- Report project issues and support needed through the System Manager and Unit Project Leader
- Secure lessons learned for future projects Handle transfer from development phase to launch team in your area of responsibility
Profile and Background
- BSc in Engineering, or the equivalent experience
- Min 3 years experience from working with automotive development
- Knowledge in Catia V5 (to check models) and Teamcenter
- Pragmatic approach to issue solving, taking initiatives and responding to changing priorities
- Strong strive for cooperation
- Wish to achieve excellence in execution
- Experience from task lead within automotive is beneficial
- Fluency in English, both oral and written
- Ability to travel Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
