NEVS mission is to provide electric-powered and fully autonomous vehicles with a connected user interface, a mobility solution for smart and sustainable cities.

The self-driving vehicle Sango is the centerpiece of the system.

We are now looking for a System Engineer for Vehicle Functions



Your team
You will work in a team with architects and systems engineers that together define how the vehicle functionality shall be designed to meet both functional and non-functional requirements. Your focus will be on the Vehicle (aka Body) functionality, which includes functions for Passive Safety, Internal- and External Lightning, Seats, Closures, Compartment Control and Passenger Authentication. Traditional automotive functions but in a new context where we are exploring the functionality best suited for shared autonomous vehicles.

As we design and develop a lot of the software in-house, you will work closely together with the software design and implementation teams. You will have great opportunities to influence our future system architecture and solutions.



What you will do
- Set vehicle level requirements for Vehicle (Body) functions.
- Define the conceptual design of the functionality including allocation to mechatronic components.
- Create and maintain the formal logical design of the Body functionality of the vehicle. The Logical design describes the logical components responsibilities and interfaces.
- Set requirements for the logical components based on the design.
- Support design and implementation work on more detailed abstraction layers.
- Collaborate with SW developers and HW component engineers to ensure that there is a common understanding of the responsibilities and interfaces of the defined components.
- Ensure the consistency of the complete vehicle logical design over the lifetime of the product.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of ways-of-working for related processes.



We are looking for you who has:
- Experience of system engineering in the vehicle domain.
- Skilled in writing verifiable requirements.
- Experience from system design of software intense functionality in the automotive industry.
- Experience from SysML modelling, preferably in Enterprise Architect.
- Experience from any requirement management tool.
- Good communication skill in English (both verbally and written).
