Your opportunity to make impact
As a hands-on system engineer involved in the development of the high integrity system (HIS) of our automated transport solution, you will be a key person working with innovative features involving both software and hardware components. Your team's responsibility stretches from creating and maintaining the high-level structure of the HIS architecture and its main components, their interactions and interfaces with designs supporting both functional needs as well as taking care of performance, maintainability, and scalability to bring new features into the target environment and ensure the safety of our customer solutions.
Who are you?
To be successful in this role we believe you have a strong background in the full product lifecycle of designing, developing, testing, deploying, operating and maintaining software solutions with hardware dependencies. Your industry background might be broad, but we hope you bring with you practical experience of functional safety and a good understanding of what it takes to release safety critical features consisting of software and hardware components with strong formal requirement. To fully complement our team, we also require that you have a grasp of different safety compliance standards such as the machine directive, ISO13849 and ISO26262 and know how to develop and design systems accordingly.
Our ideal candidate holds a personality of being a driven self-starter with the ability to work effectively in teams and individually. You should thrive when dealing with complex problems and be comfortable collaborating and communicating with various delivery teams, product owners and customer projects. We also hope that you are structured, self-motivated, enthusiastic and possess an eagerness to understand the broader picture.
