Your role
We are now looking for experienced mechanical design engineers with experience of leading and supporting a team and who can take greater responsibility, someone with deep knowledge from the automotive industry to our team in Gothenburg.
As a System Engineer/Component Owner, you work as a project manager with responsibility for coordinating all areas to get the product all the way to series production.
You will be responsible for one or more parts and you will be active in the development of concepts and parts and independently drive your results. You are a skilled engineer in software management and used to managing suppliers and preferably handle visible parts with great attention to design or parts that have a close customer impact.
We expect you to develop, monitor and update relevant schedules for the tasks and assess whether the level of maturity of the components meets the set requirements.
You will anchor the decision, development and status of the responsible line manager and also be responsible for communicating forecasts, goals and current status.
Your profile
Required qualifications
• Minimum B.Sc. Mech. Engineering or equivalent based on work experience
• At least 3 years' experience from product development
• English, both in speech and writing
• An asset would be if you have previous experience as a Team/Project Leader
• Technical knowledge of the area is meritorious
Personal qualities
• Self-motivated with a strong delivery orientation
• High cooperation ability and communication skills.
• Structured and used to summarize and present status reports
• Ability to guide others and build efficient teams
• Ability to prioritize the teams tasks
• Flexible
• Experiences in agile way of working is beneficial
• Personal energy
