Security and Defence Solutions, a business area of Saab, offers command and control systems, airborne early warning systems, civil security systems and solutions, training and simulation, as well as telecom carrier.
COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS develop software based communication products and solutions for land, sea, and air use. Now we are looking for experienced System Engineers to our development team for advanced routers and security solutions for disruptive tolerant networks in Linköping.
Your future challenge
Your role as a System Engineer will let you work on the specification and development of future products and solutions that aim to fulfil stringent performance, robustness and information security requirements. You are expected to be a cornerstone of all our development projects by becoming a key member of our system engineering team responsible for mapping customer needs to system architectures and requirements that allows for reuse and future extensibility.
Todays demands
You likely hold a M.Sc. degree and several years of experience working with communication products, preferably in a role as system architect or similar engineering position. We are looking for candidates that have experience and knowledge in the below areas:
• System modelling
• Wireless communication
• IP-based networking including routing
• Information security
An understanding of military communication systems and user needs is considered an asset but not a requirement.
