System Engineer for Functional Black Trim
As System Engineer for Functional Black Trim (FBT) you will managing the deliveries for a number of parts within the specific project. Our main parts are Heat Shields and Black Trim within the platform. The work includes close cooperation with responsible people for surrounding systems, packaging, attribute responsible and manufacturing as well as after-market and quality engineers. We expect you to take own initiatives and drive work according to input from the project and System Manager. The deliveries include all activities the team is responsible for within the project, such as design, design reviews, verification, sourcing, supplier collaboration, builds, etc. For the design work you will get help from design engineers.
Responsibilities and tasks
• Drive, develop and establish system requirements.
• Develop system design solutions to meet project requirements.
• Define interfaces and participate in mechanical integration meetings.
• Plan and follow up on validation activities.
• Plan and monitor system development activities.
• Lead and coordinate cross functional team (Purchasing, SQM, ME, CAE, validation, etc.).
• Quality assure the team project deliveries in time.
Profile and Background
• Engineering degree at minimum B.Sc. Level
• Minimum 5 years of experience from automotive business.
• Planning skills to secure deliveries in time.
• Experience to work in multicultural cross-functional teams.
• Cultural awareness.
• A flexible mindset with ability to lead change and development and take decisions.
• A creative and analytical mindset to handle complex problems.
• Team Center experience.
