The products are sold across a network of sewing machine dealers, mass retailers (e.g., Costco, Walmart, Lidl, MediaMarkt, Carrefour), specialty retailers (e.g., Joann, Michaels), online retailers (e.g., Amazon, Tmall), distributors, and through the company's 180 internally operated retail stores.
We are around 50 talented engineers at the R&D center in Jönköping, which has been developing some of the most advanced sewing and embroidery machines in the world.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
As a system engineer you will become the "glue" between Product Management, the different functions within R&D and the rest of the organization. You will support our projects with technical as well as system engineering lead. Your job is to maange technical investigations and together wit the team define and document the requirements that will beimplemened in our products. You will have a strong base in the user perspective and work closely together with our sewing and crafting experts to understand what functions that gives true user benefits. You bring the right people together to make it happen, for example Software engineers, electronic engineers, UX-designers, Sewing specialists, Mechanical Engineers etc. In your role you will also contribute to the work with improvements of our tool and processes.
You will play a central role in our cross-functional and international team set up to deliver the best sewing and crafting solutions for our customers.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Today we think that you have longer experience working as a system engineer or system architect in the area between embedded software and electronics. Experience of connectivity and digital solutions/apps is also an advantage since your focus will be on our ecosystem of products and digital solutions.
• At least 5 years of experience in system engineering
• Experience of IoT/connected devices
• Experience of system engineering tools and processes
• International work experience is valuable.
• Fluent in English.
Skills/personal qualifications:
• Solution-focused with a proactive drive.

• Team-oriented with a collaborative work style.
• Positive, with a resilient "can do" attitude.
• Competent in conveying complex concepts both verbally and in writing.
• Prior experience in the consumer goods sector is beneficial.
Education and Certifications:
• Master's degree in software/electrical engineering or a related field.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is conducted in our office in Jönköping combined with possibility to partly remote work. Domestic and international travels can occur.
