We are looking for a
Systems Engineer for our Stockholm office
Your Role
In this role you will work for our RCS division on a department called Engineering And Product Development (EAPD), where ERTMS & ATP systems are designed and specified by the Systems Engineer.
Systems engineering is a key activity to the successful development of solutions that create high customer value and satisfaction. You will act as the bridge between the users of the system (external or internal customers) and the developers (including HW and SW Designers, Testers and Validators). You will design and specify technical solutions that RCS can commit to develop successfully and deliver on schedule.
Your Challenges
• Identifying customer needs through close collaboration with the customer
• Defining system requirements
• Decide on system solution and product selection
• Lead of Engineering Work Package in Projects
Your Experience and Qualifications
• Master of Science in Engineering or systems science or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in railway signaling processes and solutions (both onboard and trackside components).
• Extensive knowledge of functionality and architecture of railway systems, especially ERTMS/ETCS.
• Fluent in English
• 5 - 10 years of relevant working experience
You have a background or a big interest in safety engineering
