The automotive industry is developing rapidly and we are moving towards hybrid cars and electric powertrains. At AFRY, we notice the change through more requests from our customers. Our climate team therefore need more resources with expertise within the thermal management area.
As a system engineer for climate systems or thermal management of batteries, you will be part of the development team that leads, plans and executes the projects. Assignments are performed either at a customer or in our in-house operations. It is a varying role where you have the opportunity to participate from concept phase to industrialization. You will have many contact areas, mainly with designers, CAE and electrical engineers and also with suppliers.
The closest team consists of 13 colleagues, both junior and senior, all with a great interest in vehicle development. Our broad and long experience in the industry ensures sustainable solutions to customer problems.
Who are you?
You have about five years of work experience from developing HVAC or thermal management systems for batteries within the automotive industry. You have probably worked with an OEM or Tier 1 supplier, but are now looking for new challenges.
Furthermore, we believe that you are a person who enjoys working in teams, are self-driven and enjoys taking great responsibility in projects. You share your knowledge as well as you learn from others in order to constantly evolve.
Requirements:
• Masters degree in mechanical engineering, preferably with an energy focus
• CATIA V5 experience
• Fluent in English
• Swedish B driver's license
