Saab TransponderTech have a marked leading position since 20 years and we are currently developing the next generation of market leading software defined radio products for sea, air and space. We do this to meet the international demand of systems for enabling more environmentally efficient transports and increased safety at sea. The so called VDES. With many exiting on-going and upcoming projects, we are now strengthening our team even further with a system engineer!
Your role
As system engineer for test systems your main responsibility will be designing, developing and maintaining our production test systems, which includes PBA-fixtures, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, multi-channel multimeters and controller software. The system is based on C# but a re-design may result in alternative implementation. You will also take lead in establishing internal verification systems. This focuses on application test frameworks for verification during software development. The role as system engineer means you will also contribute in generic product requirement, design and verification activities at approximately 50% of your time.
Your Profile
Required skills:
* 3+ years experience in development and verification of radio equipment.
* 3+ years hands-on experience from using spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
* 3+ years experience from object oriented programming.
* Master of Science degree within electronics or similar
* Excellent writing skills in English and Swedish

What you will be a part of
With us at TransponderTech, you will get to be part of Saab but still have the feeling of the "small" company. In our Linköping office we are about 35 people working mainly in the global civil market and we are market leading in our product segment. The portfolio consists of VDES radio transceivers for land, ships, satellites and aircrafts as well as advanced navigation and presentation systems. The site includes all functions, from marketing and sales, to product development, production planning and logistics. The relationship between own working efforts and company results is very clear.
You will be part of our development team, which execute a variety of development tasks in several parallel projects; from research in future technologies to maintaining the competitiveness of existing products. It is a dedicated team of 22 persons designing and implementing all part of the product, from mechanics, electronics, FPGA firmware and application SW, to user documentation. A typical product development project has a duration of 2 years, from idea to serial production. Most of our products are manufactured to stock, ready to be shipped to customers worldwide.
TransponderTech is located in Hackefors, 10 minutes from Linköping center in modern facilities with guaranteed car and bike parking right outside the office building
