We currently have the following job opening;
System Engineer - Surface Materials
As a System Engineer you are working with the development of surface materials such as textiles,
leather and plastics. You will develop requirements, concepts and system solutions and you will drive
the work towards suppliers according to requirements.
Responsibilities and tasks
Develop surface materials that meet technical requirements and the Design Intent.
- Work closely towards Geely Design department
- Support engineering departments with surface material knowledge
- Drive supplier towards the goal set by design, marketing and engineering requirements
Requirements
- BSc. or M.Sc. in textile eng., mechanical eng. or materials eng.
- Relevant experience from development of components and systems within the automotive area
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes for textiles, leathers and plastics
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in cross functional teams
- Experience of project leading
- Ability to drive work towards suppliers
