We currently have the following job opening;
System Engineer - Powertrain System Safety
As a System Engineer for Powertrain System Safety, you will secure System Safety solutions for vehicle development projects. You will be part of the module team Controls and Calibration, within the Powertrain Integration unit, which is part of the R&D organization at CEVT.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Secure automotive functional safety according to ISO 26262 within powertrain system
- Secure that SW and SW processes align with System Safety requirements
- Influence powertrain function development (e.g. Convert energy to torque, Fuel distribution, Gear selection, StopStart)
- Manage hazard analyses and risk assessments
- Describe Functional Safety and Technical Safety Concepts
- Secure requirement traceability within the area
- Understand and influence how subsystems are integrated
Requirements
- M.Sc. engineering
- At least 5 years' experience of automotive development, preferably within powertrain systems and SW
- Fundamental understanding of System Safety, ASIL classification and the ISO 26262 standard
- Ability to coordinate and interact with people
- Ability to plan and follow-up items
- Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
- Fluency in English, both oral and written
- Ability to travel
