We currently have the following job opening;
System Engineer - Diagnostic Calibration Transmission System
As System Engineer for Transmission System you are together with the calibration team responsible for developing and performing calibration of components included in the transmission system.
As part of an expanding team you will be working in a creative environment shaping tomorrows calibration methods for transmission systems. You will work in an agile environment with cross functional teams within Powertrain engineering. The calibration team today consist of several very competent members from all over the world, working with calibration of both in-house developed software and software delivered from suppliers.
Main responsibility
- Perform calibration activities on the transmission system, with focus on diagnostic.
- Measure, analyze and optimize Powertrain transmission diagnostic functions.
- Participate in the development of new functionality and optimize the features.
- Calibrate diagnosis, verify and validate in vehicle and HIL.
- Calibration activities at test facilities and participate in expeditions abroad.
- Participate in process and method development for calibration of transmission system.
Profile and background
- Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/SW Engineering or equivalent which emphasis in vehicle and driveline.
- Experience from transmission and/or powertrain calibration process.
- Experience of measurement technology e.g. INCA, CANalyzer and DSA.
- Experience of vehicle communication e.g CAN and OBD Diagnostics.
- Knowledge in dynamic modelling using MATLAB/Simulink or similar simulation tools.
- Experience of testing in vehicle and HIL rigs.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Driver's license B.
- As a person you should be communicative and relation oriented. Possess a drive for changes and implementations and be engaged to the tasks that you are responsible for. A good team player but with the ability to also work individually.
