We currently have the following job opening;

System Engineer - Cooling Systems

As a System Engineer you will actively drive and lead the development of commodities within cooling system, e.g. expansion tank, hoses, cooling FAN and cooling pack. Both for conventional and hybrid powertrains fulfilling given targets in terms of cost, timing, delivery and quality.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Component design responsible for a commodity within cooling systems.
• Support and interact with respective component suppliers as well as internal CEVT with purchasing, quality, manufacturing, aftermarket as well as other stakeholders, e.g. engine design, project organization, etc.
• This position will have an extensive interface towards the engineering part of the CEVT organization that is working with hybrid vehicle development, as much of the work will be focused on development of the cooling system for such type of powertrain.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent if sufficient experience
• At least 3-5 years of experience of working as component responsible designer.
• Ability to work in teams and project organization
• Experience of cooperation with suppliers, e.g. verification of technical requirements.
• Experience of working with PLM systems, preferable Team Center
• Experience with release process of components in the automotive industry (including its suppliers).
• Systematic and thorough mindset
• Ability to work independently in a changing environment
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Fluent in English and preferable Swedish or/and Chinese
• We will perform ongoing selection during the application period.
