Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Digitalisation, automation, connectivity and electrification are crucial parts of the transformation; Scania's future success relies on flexible and effective IT solutions that enables current and future business requirements. This journey is not possible without good and motivated co-workers.

We are continuing to build on our great team spirit and think that you can contribute to that while helping us reach our goals.

Who is Scania and who are we

Scania breathes its core values; respect for the individual, elimination of waste and customer first. Everything we do is based on these values, this is just who we are. Through the years we have realised that sustainable cities and environments take effort and we are committed to get there no matter the cost.

The group EPIB consists of 10 people working in two teams. One team makes sure that the computers on board a transport vehicle has the correct diagnostic support to secure that goods reach their destinations and on time. The other team makes sure engineers, mechanics or customers can communicate with the vehicle's onboard communication network.

It is the latter team that seeks a new member to help them add value to the Scania mission.

Your mission here with us

The Marmots team are responsible for setting up a framework that enables the Electric Control Units on board the vehicles to communicate with the outside world. Part of this goal is to think about how we arrange the code so the architecture can be built on for future demands. Mean while the ECU:s are evolving towards higher performance ECU:s, with more band width and faster clock cycles. We need to support these new capabilities... and this is where you come in!

Your profile

• Team player
• University education with specialisations such as industrial economics, mechanical engineer, system scientist, etc.
• System software developer experience (more than three years) preferably C#, C++, .NET or experience from similar languages like Java
• Good communication skills for all cross functional collaboration needs
• Fluent in english but swedish is an advantage

We offer

We offer an opportunity to make a difference for the transport sector, which hungers for sustainable solutions. Our corporate culture is characterised by openness, diversity and respect for the individual. Employees are our most important resource, so we invest in training our employees and giving them the opportunity to broaden their skills in order to be able to grow with us.

We offer Scania employees and their families free access to our complete fitness centre or a contribution to the fitness centre of your choosing. We can offer you Scania Job Express, a direct bus that runs between Stockholm and Södertälje. You can also enjoy other benefits such as an option to sign an agreement for an employee car, flexible working hours, lunch benefits at reduced prices and much more.

We would love to see what you can offer us, because the Scania family also firmly believes that we win by the relationship.
