You will work as a System Developer in Connectivity Packet Platform (CPP) Development Unit within Ericsson at Kista, 20 minutes from Stockholm City Center. Our Development Unit provides the global market with a high performing and scalable platform which today is the key building block in our world leading Radio Networks (3G and 4G). Your main tasks will include system development of key components such as control systems, network synchronization, switching, signaling and transport over IP and ATM. Our unit is a global organization with operations in Sweden, Croatia, India, Russia and China.

Network capacity is the key for future success and we will need to make the platform even more scalable, flexible and robust to meet the customer requirements. At the same time we need to support our massive installed base with demanding customers. Ahead of us lie extremely important projects that will secure Ericsson's leading position in a market with an ever increasing mix of Smartphone's, laptops, netbooks and tablets.

Main tasks includes:
Performing system studies in our R&D project
Participating and driving prototyping and predevelopment of new features and technologies
Define and follow up function and characteristics requirements
Participate in customer discussions within your competence area
Education:
B.Sc. or M. Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar
Development:
2-4 years experience in System and/or SW Design
Good technical knowledge of telecom and/or IP networks
Strong Linux skills
Good skills in real time operating systems
Modelling skills, like UML
Agile development, like Scrum
