• Design, develop and maintain the competitive and high-quality Radio Bases Station executable platform for GSM, WCDMA and LTE radio standard specific traffic features
• Strive to be the most competitive Radio Base Stations Development unit in the industry through high quality, fast TTM and cost control
• Build world-leading competence to maintain technology, product development and people leadership
• Build efficient development processes
PDU RBS also fulfils development in MU sponsored assignments on the executable platform. The executable platform consists of HW, CPP, NCI and common radio access technology SW.
We are now seeking for an experienced System Designer with deep understanding of SW architecture to joint the team RBS Functional Architecture unit within PDU RBS System.
The RBS Functional Architecture unit has the responsibility to develop and maintain the Radio
Base Station (RBS) architecture. More specifically:
• Develop and secure the architecture of the RBS
• Mapping of functionallity on HW and SW Architecure
• Develop and mainatin technology plans
Main receiver of functional requirements from PL RBS
The new position is intended for an experienced System Designer to take a work within the scope of the responsibility of the RBS Functional Architecture unit.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• Deep experience and knowledge of work with SW architecture
• Deep experience and knowledge of work with embedded systems
• Considerable experience in system work, e.g. requirement handling
Recognized contribution in resolving technical conflicts
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Recognized contribution as a SW technology leader
• Experience from working with large SW development projects.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
• Experience working with System & Radio Base Station Development
• Experience from working with RBS O&M
• Experience from working with LTE, LTE solutions and LTE WoW
• Experience from working with UML and modeling tools such as RSA-RTE
EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Technical education on university level or equivalent.
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES
• Ability and flexibility to work to tight deadlines to help maintain delivery dates
• Ability to develop medium/long term vision and anticipate technology trends so that long lead time study/development activities are started in advance
• Ability to priorities work and deliver under pressure - i.e. enhanced sense of urgency when needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Team player open to new ideas and sharing knowledge with other team members
• Ability to work in a multi-national team
