As a System Developer - Laboratory Processes at TATAA Biocenter, you will be instrumental in optimizing laboratory processes and data management. Your role involves understanding user requirements, designing custom workflows and interfaces, configuring laboratory systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and enhancing the integration of data across laboratory systems.
Your Essential Responsibilities will include
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate user requirements into functional system specifications.
• Work with vendors to implement solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Design custom workflows and interfaces to optimize laboratory processes.
• Configure laboratory systems to meet specific needs, ensuring integration with existing systems.
• Perform system testing, validation, and quality assurance for compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues in collaboration with end-users and IT support teams.
• Integrate data across laboratory systems and participate in implementation projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as GLP (Good Laboratory Practice), and adhere to company policies and procedures related to system development and maintenance.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, with a focus on cloud technologies, for continuous professional development.
KvalifikationerRequirements
• Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# and familiarity with web development technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements such as GLP, ISO 17025, and FDA guidelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including scientists, IT, and quality assurance.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Desirables - It's highly preferable if you possess
• Knowledge of laboratory processes and scientific workflows is a plus.
• Experience in working with LIMS systems and their programmatic interfaces.
• Experience as a System Developer in a laboratory or scientific environment.
• Experience with cloud technologies and data analytics.
• Technical knowledge of system architecture, database design, and integration techniques.
