About the Autonomous Sensor Technologies Group
Our team consists of ten great developers with skills ranging from sensor technology to software development, all devoted to delivering autonomy to Scania and TRATON. We collaborate closely with suppliers, as well as our colleagues at MAN and Navistar. Our mission is to provide the senses for our robots, delivering a full suite of sensors, including Cameras, Lidars, Radars, RTK, IMU, and more. We source, integrate, test and analyse sensors to bring autonomy to market quickly, sustainably, and safely.

System developer at Autonomous Sensor Technologies
As a System developer, you'll together with the team and data consumer develop and maintain the sensor platform to meet the need for autonomy. Depending on your set of skills and the task at hand the work entails: sensor scouting and evaluation, software and hardware development, hands-on vehicle testing and troubleshooting, scouting and supplier interaction, testing and analysing, and more. All in all an inspiring mixture of practical and theoretical tasks where you have the chance to observe your work in the actual vehicle.

Typical tasks are:

• Software and hardware integration and troubleshooting in robot
• Sensor scouting and evaluation
• Systematically improve measurement accuracy by calibration, characterization etc.
• Testing and analysing sensor data in the lab as well as in the vehicle
• Supplier discussions and cross-functional work

Who We're Looking For
Personality and attitude are the most important factors. If you're a team player who enjoys technical challenges, have a can-do attitude, and preferably have experience in the sensor domain, we encourage you to apply.

Other meritorious skills:

• Sensor modeling and signal processing
• Experience from perception and/or localisation sensors
• Calibration and data analyst
• Rudimental knowledge in C++, python, git, CI/CD, TCP/UDP, Linux
• Experiences from the automotive industry

This ad covers two positions, one being more theoretical toward sensor technology and the other more toward integration, evaluation and calibration. Whether you're a senior engineer or recently completed your degree in mechanics, mechatronics or similar we welcome you to apply.
