What 's in it for you?
As a system engineer you will make sure that the high voltage system in an electric vehicle is well balanced, robust and available. You will set up requirements that works as play rules for all components that shall be part of the system. The team also have a helicopter view of the electric power train where we have an important role when it comes to integrate components in the most optimized way. We are a mixed team of people in all ages and from all around the world.
Who are we?
The High Voltage system design team is part of Propulsion strategy and innovation department and is one of the teams in Electrical Propulsion System CAE & Systems Design. This group consists of three teams; a CAE team, a system design team and a system safety and diagnose team. We work with the electrical propulsion system for the electric vehicles and full hybrids. Some of the important parts of our systems in the vehicles are High Voltage Batteries, Electric Motors, Inverters and Chargers. Our group works cross-functional within the electrical propulsion system in areas as Systems Design, Diagnostics & Dependability, Electrical Safety, Architecture and Simulations (CAE).
Who are you?
It is important that you are team oriented and willing to contribute to the atmosphere as well as the deliverables from the team. The job also requires that you are self-motivated with a strong drive for personal development.
University degree within electronics. Minimum bachelor degree.
What You 'll do
As a system designer of the High Voltage system you will work closely with people who are responsible for the ingoing components in the HV system such as HV battery, electric machine and charger. You will lead the cross functional System development within Electrical Propulsion System. You will act as responsible for establishing requirements on the HVDC-bus, e.g. Voltage Transients. You will also identify needs for advanced engineering projects.
