As System Design Manager you will be a member of the Center of Competence for Power Quality Solutions, managing and coaching a team of twelve experienced system design engineers.
This position is based in Västerås, Sweden.
Your Responsibilities
Coach and support the team and individuals and be liable for the competence development
Manage, both strategically and operationally, the appropriate use of technical and human resources
Ensure on-time delivery of engineering activities and conduct quality of deliverables in tenders and projects
Be in close contact with the other engineering disciplines including research and development, project managers, and other Hitachi Energy units globally
Follow up on budget
Ensure process adherence and implement improvements

Your background
You hold an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics or similar.
You have multiple years of experience in project business
Strong leadership, communication, and people skills with high focus on internal and external customers and their needs
You like to work in a dynamic international and multicultural environment
You bring great knowledge into the field of engineering
As you will be part of a company that operates on a global arena, fluency in English is required.
