We are looking for a curious and open minded team player with a "bring it on mindset" to be part of this agile development team working with automotive vision system design and verification at Volvo Cars. You will guide, design, verify and approve automotive camera-based vision systems for production, working from architectural design to implementation, to validation and verification.
The team combines individual work with working closely together as a team to solve complex problems and deliver the best vision system possible. This team also works closely together with other teams in Volvo Car 's organization in areas such as senson fusion and SW platform.
This is an environment where you learn everyday, challenge each other and get to expand your competence broadly, as well within your competence focus area. By working with the car 's vision systems you will contribute to the important task of letting Volvo Cars ' customers move in a safe way.
Personal qualifications:
You have a B.Sc or M.Sc. degree within Electrical, Computer science or equivalent area of education.
Working in an agile, cross functional and collaborative way comes naturally to you.
You are a good communicator and have excellent English skills both verbally and in writing.
You enjoy managing complexity and bringing engineers together to make a difference in the product.
You are a structured, driven and resourceful team player. You can deliver the "how" and "what" in a dynamic multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
Experience and skills in Python is meritorious.
Swedish driver 's license (B) is meritorious.
