About the position:
This position is an hybrid position with two different roles included.
As a system administrator you will be responsible for the operation and installation of Unix(,Linux and Windows) based servers that ELITS operates.
As a Database Administrator you will be responsible for the operation, function, development and quality of the Databases that ELITS operates. You will handle incidents, problems and change work in the Oracle systems at our customer.
The tasks are divided to both individual and work in projects. It is important that you have a great ability to co-operate with customers, suppliers and colleagues. You will be a part of a team spans across several sites in Sweden, Germany, China, USA and Canada. The ability to handle teamwork and co-operation is an important skill to maintain a high standard and a quality delivery to our customers. Work during weekends may occur.
Qualifications:
As mentioned this position requires the skills and experience of both an system administrator and database administrator.
It is important that you can handle critical server solutions, and at the same time have a professional attitude, be able to organize your tasks and handle stressful situations. As a system/database administrator you should have a great interest in technology and the ability to visualize the customer needs.
Required experiences:
• In depth knowledge of UNIX OS(Linux and Windows knowledge is an advantage)
• At lest three years of experience with database administration(Oracle)
• Installation, configuration and trouble shooting skills
• Able to handle TCP- and IP-based networks
• Experience working with incidents, problems, IT orders, requests, changes and releases
• Fluency in English
• Experience of ITIL is an advantage
• Experience working in large enterprise organizations is an advantage

• Ability to coordinate and handle more than one task at the same time
