Are you a skilled automation engineer with a desire for a new challenge? If so, we might have the right opportunity for you!
The Systems Engineering organisation within the Tetra Pak Carton Economy platform is searching for the right individual to address the challenges of automation with a total system perspective. You will focus on Product Development projects and manage the integration of the automation solution across total packaging system lines.
Tetra Pak Carton Economy can offer you a dynamic working environment close to the growing economic markets in the world, a broad insight in the different technologies used within Tetra Pak and an opportunity to develop a wide personal network. The position is based in Lund, Sweden.
Main responsibilities
• Defining and managing automation functionality required in a system
• Set the automation structure, architecture and specification for our systems
• Defining and managing our 'Line Behaviour'
• Simulate our new fully automated lines
Qualifications
To be successful in this position we believe you are result oriented and a true team player. You have good communication and facilitation skills and feel comfortable using them in a global organization. You are driven by a genuine technical interest in combination with the ability to create and use abstract models.
You have a technical university degree together with at least 5 years of experience in technical development. You have strong working knowledge of the automation hardware and code base, its structure, levels of modularity and the associated complexity.
A "hands on" experience working with complex systems engineering is highly valued. In addition, we encourage our team to contribute to the knowledge build-up in this area to continuously improve 'how we work'. You are fluent in English both spoken and written.
